Sam and Andrew’s wedding was just beautiful! ✨

I arrived at Annfield House, where Sam and her closest family were getting ready. Gillian @‌gillianerskinehair and Jennifer @‌jennifer_rossmakeup did a fantastic job preparing the ladies for the day. The atmosphere in the morning was so chilled and relaxed.

When Sam got ready, her honorary best friend—her grandpa—came into the room with her mum to see Samantha in her wedding dress. That moment was super special, and I loved witnessing it.

Just before 2 pm, we left the house to go to @‌venacharlochside, where the magic happened. 💍

If you haven’t heard about that venue, you need to check it out. It’s located just by the loch, surrounded by mountains and lots of greenery.💖

The venue is 100% my vibe and it was on my bucket list to shoot there, so Sam and Andrew, thank you for making it happen :D

When I arrived, I was welcomed by the biggest smile on Andrew’s face. He was so excited! (So was I!)

Soon the rest of the crew arrived and we were ready to go! With the breathtaking views, Sam was walked down the aisle by her sweet grandpa.

The ceremony was conducted by the lovely Beverley @‌beverleycelebrant, and it was just beautiful.

When the evening guests started arriving around 7 pm, the guys from @‌fiobhaceilidhband were all set up and ready to play and sing for everyone. They started with a ceilidh, which always scares me as I can’t remember any moves, haha. It looked so fun though, and I managed to capture many cool pictures while some guests had fun 🙂

The weather? Well, we hit the jackpot! It was better than we could have imagined. Sunshine filled the sky the whole time. Just before I went home, I managed to take some dreamy golden hour photos with Sam and Andrew <3 and guess what? They even got into the water a little bit. Water was an important connection as my awesome couple are both swimmers.

Actually, when we met in Starbucks for the first time in November to chat about wedding photography, they mentioned they would be going for a cold water dip… and one week later, I met them for a (VERY COLD) water dip! It was a cool experience and I treated it as bonding with my couple!
